No matter how much you love Checkers & Rally’s it’s kinda hard to hang a burger or milkshake on your wall. So we turned Checkers & Rally’s most iconic menu items into highly collectable pieces of art and auctioned them off in the world’s first Instagram Art Auction.
To hype the collection online we created profile videos of the artists that explored their love of art and of course all things fast food.
In less than 24 hours we built our "high-calorie-gallery" right in the middle of CraveCon - A fast food influencer festival created by youtube stars Daym Drops and Ken Dominik.
Before our die-hard Fast Foodies could proudly display their love for the Baconzilla or the Big Buford over their mantle they had to win it. And we made it easy. Just upload a photo of your favorite piece to Instagram using #cravingscollection and #fastfoodie and the influencer with the most likes won.
For those who couldn't attend, cravingscollection.com allowed fans to peep the art and learn more about each artist. And if they signed up to become a member of the Flavorhood, they also had the chance to score some delicious art as well.
People seemed to like it. Cravings Collection won 1 gold Addy, the 2017 Judges choice award, and 7 silvers.
